Giveffect is a platform specifically designed to support nonprofit organizations, offering comprehensive tools for constituent management, event coordination, and volunteer tracking.
Access to the system requires users to have a registered account. Once logged in with valid credentials, users can manage their organization's events, volunteers, and contact database efficiently.
The application features location-based search capabilities, enabling administrators to locate contacts within a specified radius using geographic data. If no location data is provided, spatial queries are bypassed.
Key functionalities include:

<li>Adding constituents to the organization's database</li>
<li>Scanning driver’s licenses via 2D barcode (PDF417) with a device camera or magnetic stripe readers</li>
<li>Searching the constituent database by name or utilizing GPS coordinates to find nearby contacts</li>
<li>Checking volunteers and event participants in and out to monitor attendance and volunteer hours</li>
<li>Validating event tickets either manually by ticket number or automatically through QR code scanning with a mobile device camera</li>
